About Laura Thooft

Before real estate, I built a career in hospitality and tourism, working in the restaurant and hotel industry. I’ve always had a heart for serving others, and helping people comes naturally to me. But after having my first child, I realized the demanding hours didn’t align with the family life I wanted. That’s when I found real estate—and I’ve never looked back!

Being a realtor allows me to blend my passion for service, my ability to connect with people, and my expertise in buying and selling homes. My goal isn’t just to close deals—it’s to build relationships, earn trust, and make the process seamless and enjoyable. Experience matters when choosing a realtor, but so does personality. We’ll be spending a lot of time together (think 3-6 months of teamwork!), so finding the right fit is key.

Today, I’m proud to call Lakeville home, where I live with my amazing husband, our four wonderful kids, and our dog Elvis. We love being outdoors—whether we’re boating, biking, or gathering around a backyard bonfire. Weekends are for donuts, family movie nights, and soaking up the simple moments together—when I’m not busy hosting open houses or showing homes to clients!
